MWDLI Summer Summit

The Mid-West Drycleaning & Laundry Institute's 2024 Summer Summit will take place at the Belterra Casino Resort in Florence, IN

on August 9-11. This annual gathering offers a unique chance to gain wisdom from industry leaders and engage in discussions about the business landscape. It serves as a valuable occasion for cleaners to network with one another and engage with Allied Trade partners, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the industry.

This year's event will feature a variety of activities, including a cocktail reception, group dinner, and an auction. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some leisurely time on the golf course, try their luck at the casino, and indulge in delicious meals at the resort's restaurants.

Meet the Speakers

Glen Gould is an in-demand professional speaker and nationally recognized leadership expert.

He’s the author of five books on leading and connecting for success including, Meet Me At Starbucks and Million Dollar Meetings. He has started five multimillion-dollar enterprises from the ground up and taught hundreds of entrepreneurs to do the same.

Glen identifies opportunities for leaders to be more successful and he makes the complex simple. Glen, his wife Tammy, and their sons Grant and Carson own DryCleaningConneciton.com, a concierge drycleaning, laundry, and linen service in suburban Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Chris Kuehl, a nationally renowned Economist serves as Armada’s Chief Economist working with a wide variety of private clients and professional associations over the last 21 years.

He serves as the Chief Economist for several national business associations. He is also the Economic Analyst for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association and writes their bi-weekly publication, Fabrinomics, which details the impact of economic trends on manufacturers.

Chris will explore the current trends and forecast what lies ahead as we strive to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead. Chris uses a combination of humor and relatable information to help small businesses understand the economic landscape. He has spoken though out the country and has been a featured speaker at numerous conventions like DLI Expo East and the MWDLI Summer Summit.
